The judges said:

“We wanted to keep an open mind on the question of newer versus more traditional printmaking techniques. We were impressed by the overall combined effect of compositional structure, range of focus, technique and colour choice in 'Deep Within'. The competition was really strong, but we felt Amber's work was a real talking point.”

About the exhibition:

The artists in the exhibition have been selected from over 600 entries by a panel of distinguished judges: Curator of Prints and Drawings at The Fitzwilliam Museum, Elenor Ling, Master-printmaker and Founder of The Print Studio, Cambridge, Kip Gresham, and Warden of Robinson College, Cambridge and Trustee of Koestler Arts, Sir Richard Heaton.

This exhibition is a compelling showcase of the skill, imagination, and deep understanding of contemporary printmakers, and is a great opportunity to discover and collect original prints from some of the UK's most exciting artists working in the field of print.

The Contemporary Printmaking Prize exhibition is open to view in person from Saturday 11 March - Sunday 2 April. Opening times: Saturdays and Sundays 10am - 5pm, other times by appointment.

All works are available to buy, and editioned works are also available unframed. Prices start at just £90 and shipping calculated upon enquiry.
