Come and meet acclaimed Scottish artist Kittie Jones at Fen Ditton Gallery for a fun evening of drinks, drawing and discussion.
This event run by the Young Collectors and is taking place as part of Kittie’s Artist Residency at Fen Ditton Gallery
Based in Edinburgh, Kittie graduated from Edinburgh College of Art and Edinburgh University in 2008. She was elected a professional member of the Society of Wildlife Artists in 2016 and Visual Arts Scotland in 2013. Her accolades include the RSPB Award at the Natural Eye exhibition (2018) and the Maude Gemmell Hutcheson Prize from the Royal Scottish Academy (2011).
Kittie’s work is rooted in the sensory experience of the outdoors, particularly the rugged beauty of Scotland’s East Coast. Working en plein air, she captures fleeting impressions of wildlife and landscape, transforming field sketches into striking prints and studio drawings.
This event offers a rare opportunity for young collectors to hear directly from Kittie about her inspirations, process, and the stories behind her pieces.
