Buffy Kimm spent much of her career assisting theatre designers at the Ryal Opera House, English national opera and Royal Shakespeare Company, as well as prop and model maker in West End and designed for BBC. She completed a BA (Hons) in Three Dimensional Studies and has taught MA Production Design at Kingston University.
Kimm’s practice involved experimenting with works on paper, using etching as per main form of printmaking. Her Model making and technical drawing background is evident in her work. Kimm is a member of Richmond Printmakers.
