Debbie Lampon is a trained psychotherapist and lecturer and a self-taught printmaker, who came to printmaking during the pandemic. She works with linocut and monoprint techniques, using hand rendered drawings.

Her work is informed by themes of working-class life in the 1970s and 80s and themes related to deprivation, the mundane and beauty of ordinary working lives, and for fun, prints based on cartoon strips and animated characters. She is particularly interested in themes from psychoanalysis about appetite, greed and hunger and how this is related to current day issues of food gentrification and deprivation.

Lampon is a member of the East London Printmakers
