Jodie Wingham completed an MA in Fine Art from Birmingham City University School of Art in 2016. Her work investigates the nature of looking, inspired by the act of observing others. Her work aims to docus on the viewers desire to gain information, interpreting their own narrative from her imagery.

This work is constructed from 6 separate plates and once completed the image appears folded, slotted together like the fingers themselves

Wingham has been awarded the Next Wave Associative Membership, 2020, the Illuminate Prize, Nottingham Castle Open 2016, the Surface Gallery Award, Nottingham Castle Open 2014 and Capsticks Fine Art Prize 2014.
