About the artist:
Alison Hart-Arkley is a Suffolk based printmaker and tutor, working with monoprint, collagraph and drypoint. She is currently testing the technical limitations of collagraph printing, using recycled packaging material as printing plates. Hart-Arkley’s inspiration is drawn from urban landscapes as well as interior, personal spaces. The window is a recurring theme, a device for framing and exploring shadows and reflections.
