A one-day reduction linocut workshop with artist-in-residence Andrew Carter

This hands-on workshop with visual artist and educator, Susie Turner, will introduce participants to the technique of drypoint etching and chine collé, using botanical specimens, found objects and wildlife from the Botanical Gardens as inspiration.

Taught by passementerie author and specialist Anna Crutchley, this one-day course will introduce students to the art of tassel making, using fine cotton yarns to make two key tassels.

Students on this exciting workshop will spend the day drawing outdoors in the natural environment around the gallery, looking at ways of capturing the changing landscape through dynamic drawing methods.
