Join us for a one-day creative workshop at Fen Ditton Gallery on Thursday 26th February, 10am–4pm, led by artist Agnes Treherne, whose exhibition Kindred Land will be on display at the gallery. Drawing inspiration from Agnes’ work and themes, this workshop invites you to spend the day immersed in the landscape, deepening your connection to your surroundings while expanding and enriching your own artistic practice.
Participants will spend the morning outdoors exploring the land owned by Lotte adjacent to the gallery, sketching en plein air and developing observational studies from life. In the afternoon, students will return to the gallery to reflect on these drawings and translate them into expressive watercolour works, guided by Agnes’ insight and expertise. This workshop is ideal for those looking to deepen their connection to landscape, process, and painterly interpretation in an inspiring setting.
