Between Light and Shadow

Continuing our occasional series of exhibitions that highlights artists’ response to colour, Between Light and Shadow explores the moments when colour is removed allowing tone, gesture and line to speak for itself.

Join us in celebrating the monochromatic spectrum in this exhibition that brings together a collection of works across medium and generation. Naturally, black and white photography will be central to the exhibition, led by artist/photographer and gallery owner, Lotte Attwood, alongside Fenland photographer Paul Hart and 1970’s fashion photographer James Wedge.

The art of printmaking in black and white will be shown through etchings by Norman Ackroyd RA, Sarah Gillespie and Roger Law, linocuts by Andrew Carter and monoprints by Fiona Fouhy, screenprints by Stephen Chambers RA as well as a collection of rarely seen woodcuts by Kip Gresham of The Print Studio, Cambridge.
